Curbside Garbage Collection
- Program Description: Roxbury Township collects both garbage and recyclables on the same day in different collection vehicles. Please help us to easily identify your recyclables by clearly marking your containers. Stickers for this purpose are available at the Municipal Building or by calling 448-2069. It is also helpful if you leave a space between your trash and recyclables when placing them at curbside for collection. The maximum number of bags or containers of trash is five (5). The municipality pays for tipping fees directly.
- Schedule: Monday..Route 1, Wednesday...Route 3, Tuesday...Route 2, Thursday.. Route 4. Friday:.. Route 5. All garbage must be placed at curbside no later than 5:30 AM on your scheduled collection day.

Curbside Recycling Collection
- Program Description: Roxbury Township collects both recyclables and garbage on the same day in different collection vehicles. It is also helpful if you leave a space between your trash and recyclables when placing them at curbside for collection. Recycling collection is based on an every other week collection. One wek for commingled containers and the next week for paper products.
- Schedule: Monday...Route 1, Wednesday...Route 3, Tuesday..Route 2, Thursday.. Route 4. Friday:.. Route 5. Collection is based on an every other week collection. One week for comingled and the following week for paper products. Please see the Township calendar for the proper collection schedule. In the event of an emergency or severe snow storm, priority is placed on the collection of trash. Recyclables should be held until the following scheduled collection day or brought to the Recycling Center.

Curbside Yard Waste Collection
- Program Description: Curbside collection of vegetative waste. The vegetative waste must be placed in brown-kraft paper bags or clearly marked containers. Material in plastic bags will not be accepted. Between April and December the compost truck is available at the municipal recycling center on Sat. 8:00 am - 4:00 p.m and Sundays 8:00 am - 4:00. PLEASE CALL 973-448-2069 FOR EXACT DATES.
- Schedule: Collection of brush, grass and leaves takes place on your regularly scheduled collection day for trash and recyclables and takes place during certain times of the year. Please consult the Township calendar for the proper collection dates.

Brush/Tree Parts
(Recycling) Brush must be tied in bundles, less than four feet in length and less than 50 lbs. The branches must be less than 3 inches in diameter. Trees and logs are not accepted. |

Grass Clippings
(Recycling) Collected curbside only in Kraft brown paper bags or CLEARLY MARKED trash containers. A limit of fifty (50) bags will be collected weekly during regularly scheduled collection times. |
