 Disposal
Facilities
 In accordance with a
December 2007 proposal to provide disposal capacity to the MCMUA in
conjunction with operating its two transfer
stations and providing transportation from the transfer
stations to the disposal facilities, Waste Management of New
Jersey will use the following disposal facilities for the
final disposition of the solid waste delivered to the
two MCMUA transfer stations. In January 2008 the MCMUA
and Waste Management of New Jersey executed a 5-year contract
for the provision of these disposal, operations and
transportation services.

Morris County adopted an
amendment to the District Solid Waste Management Plan dated
January 2008 which included this 5-year operations,
transportation and disposal contract.
