In
an effort to keep boat shrink-wrap out of the trash so that it can be
recycled, a collection program for this material will be launched on
Saturday, March 15, 2008 on Lake
Hopatcong
at Lee’s County Park Marina, 443 Howard Boulevard, Mount Arlington,
NJ
07856.
A
roll-off container with signs proclaiming “RECYCLE YOUR SHRINK WRAP
HERE!!!” will be located at the marina between March 15, 2008, and
June 30, 2008.
Anyone
who has boat shrink-wrap (bundled and tied) may deliver it to the
marina and stack it in the roll-off container between 9 a.m. and 1
p.m. every day between March 15, 2008, and June 30, 2008.

boat shrink-wrap program. Please note that the Morris County
shrink-wrap collection program will not include the other materials
listed on the state's PDF flyer; sacrificial anodes (zinc), 55-gallon
plastic drums, and mercury-containing devices; however, anyone who
wants information about the proper disposal of mercury containing
devices, is welcome to call our hazardous waste coordinator at
973-829-8006.
Please
