Provided below are proposals being solicited by the MCMUA through a fair and open process in accordance with N.J.S.A. 19:44A-20.4, et seq.  These invitations/requests to submit proposals are for the following proposals:


INVITATION TO SUBMIT PROPOSALS
PROFESSIONAL LEGAL SERVICES

The Morris County Municipal Utilities Authority (MCMUA) is soliciting proposals from attorneys licensed to practice in the State of New Jersey to provide professional legal services to give routine legal advice and opinions, examination and drafting of pertinent legal documents, attendance at meetings, as requested, defense and prosecution of litigation, being available as needed for consultation with the MCMUA and staff and, in general, handling all requested legal work regarding solid waste and water issues in the interest of the MCMUA from February 6, 2008 to February 10, 2009.

Proposals are being solicited through a fair and open process in accordance with N.J.S.A. 19:44A-20.4, et seq.

Proposals will be evaluated by MCMUA on the basis of the most advantageous, price and other factors considered.  The evaluation will consider:

  1. Experience and reputation in the field;

  2. Knowledge of the MCMUA and the subject matter to be addressed under the contract;

  3. Availability to accommodate any required meetings of the agency;

  4. Designated professional and support staff and location of firm's offices;

  5. References in general;

  6. Compensation proposal;

  7. Other factor if demonstrated to be in the best interest of the MCMUA.

Selection of legal counsel shall be based solely on the MCMUA's evaluation of the submittal material and the criteria set forth in this document.  The MCMUA reserves the right to negotiate the terms and conditions of the contract with the successful firm or firms to obtain the most advantageous situation for the MCMUA.

Proposals should be submitted in writing in a sealed envelope bearing the name and address of the Proposer and the words "Professional Legal Services".  Proposals being sent by U.S. mail should be addressed to the Morris County Municipal Utilities Authority at P. O. Box 370, Mendham, New Jersey 07945-0370 or if proposals are delivered in person or by courier service they should be sent to the MCMUA's Office located at 300 Mendham Road, Morris Township, New Jersey 07960 no later than Wednesday, January 30, 2008 at 3:00 p.m.

INVITATION TO SUBMIT PROPOSALS
PROFESSIONAL ENGINEERING SERVICES

The Morris County Municipal Utilities Authority (MCMUA) is soliciting proposals from engineers licensed to practice in the State of New Jersey to provide professional engineering services to serve as the MCMUA's Solid Waste Division Engineer to handle solid waste projects including, but not limited to, Transfer Station permitting, engineering design and construction, Recycling Consolidation Center modifications and Household Hazardous Waste Facility design and construction in the interest of the MCMUA from February 6, 2008 to February 10, 2009.

Proposals are being solicited through a fair and open process in accordance with N.J.S.A. 19:44A-20.4, et seq.

Proposals will be evaluated by MCMUA on the basis of the most advantageous, price and other factors considered.  The evaluation will consider: 

  1. Experience and reputation in the field;

  2. Knowledge of the MCMUA and the subject matter to be addressed under the contract;

The Morris County Municipal Utilities Authority (MCMUA) is soliciting proposals from auditors licensed in the State of New Jersey to provide professional services to serve as the MCMUA's Auditor to audit the financial statements of the business type activities of the MCMUA for the year ended December 31, 2007 and to provide additional services including financial advice and opinions as necessary from February 6, 2008 to February 10, 2009.

Proposals are being solicited through a fair and open process in accordance with N.J.S.A. 19:44A-20.4, et seq.

Proposals will be evaluated by MCMUA on the basis of the most advantageous, price and other factors considered.  The evaluation will consider:

  1. Experience and reputation in the field;

  2. Knowledge of the MCMUA and the subject matter to be addressed under the contract;

  3. Availability to accommodate any required meetings of the agency;

  4. Designated professional and support staff and location of firm's offices;

  5. References in general;

  6. Compensation proposal;

  7. Other factor if demonstrated to be in the best interest of the MCMUA.

The Morris County Municipal Utilities Authority (MCMUA) is soliciting proposals from appraisers licensed in the State of New Jersey to provide professional appraisal services for the MCMUA for the year beginning on February 6, 2008 to February 10, 2009.

Proposals are being solicited through a fair and open process in accordance with N.J.S.A. 19:44A-20.4, et seq.

Proposals will be evaluated by MCMUA on the basis of the most advantageous, price and other factors considered.  The evaluation will consider:

  1. Experience and reputation in the field;

  2. Knowledge of the MCMUA and the subject matter to be addressed under the contract;

  3. Availability to accommodate any required meetings of the agency;

  4. Designated professional and support staff and location of firm's offices;

  5. References in general;

  6. Compensation proposal;

  7. Other factor if demonstrated to be in the best interest of the MCMUA.

Selection of appraiser shall be based solely on the MCMUA's evaluation of the submittal material and the criteria set forth in this document.  The MCMUA reserves the right to negotiate the terms and conditions of the contract with the successful firm or firms to obtain the most advantageous situation for the MCMUA.

The MCMUA will select one or more appraisers which will be used throughout the year to perform the necessary real estate appraiser services or other appraiser services as required by the MCMUA.

Proposals should be submitted in writing in a sealed envelope bearing the name and address of the Proposer and the words "Professional Appraisal Services".  Proposals being sent by U.S. mail should be addressed to the Morris County Municipal Utilities Authority at P. O. Box 370, Mendham, New Jersey 07945-0370 or if proposals are delivered in person or by courier service they should be sent to the MCMUA's Office located at 300 Mendham Road, Morris Township, New Jersey 07960 no later than Wednesday, January 30, 2008 at 3:00 p.m.
